Itinerary - Dec to April

Day 1 - Our journey today takes us across the Marrakai floodplains of the Adelaide River and on into the world heritage listed Kakadu National Park. Your guide will provide an informative and interesting commentary throughout the day as we make our way to the heart of Kakadu and visit the Bowalli Visitor Centre. View ancient Aboriginal rock art at Ubirr Rock as well as spectacular scenery. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch before we join the Guluyambi Cultural cruise on the East Alligator river to learn more about the traditional customs and beliefs of the region from locals. Drop off at your overnight accommodation, Aurora Kakadu Resort.

Day 2 - .Enjoy a sleep in or maybe a self guided monsoon forest walk before being picked up at 9.30am. View ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock as well as spectacular scenery. Gain an additional insight into local customs at the Warradjan Cultural Centre. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch before we join the Yellow Water billabong cruise to view a plethora of wildlife. Travel back to Darwin arriving around 7.30pm.
