The Top End monsoonal season is a very dynamic time of year with fascinating lightning displays, lush new regrowth and spectacular waterfalls, there is something different every day! Traditionally this is our 'Low' season as there is not a lot of travellers around (don't know why, it's a beautiful time of year!)
The benefit for you is there is usually some cheap flights, hotel deals and tour discounts on offer. As an operator though, it is just not viable to run scheduled tours everyday. We end up going out with 2, 3 or 4 passengers each trip and barely cover costs. It's good for you as there is less people around, but hey I have a family to feed!
